Encyclopedic Discography of Victor Recordings

Post by FloridaClay »

I expect many people here already know about the wonderful "Encyclopedic Discography of Victor Recordings," but if not it is a real treasure worth checking out.

I was not aware of this site. What an impressive discographic compilation. I note that the site claims to have about 10,000 audio files; however, I was not able to find a single one.

It seems to be a work in progress as far as the accompanying sound files are concerned, but there are some there. I listened to several today. Here's one.

Thanks for posting this link Clay. I used to have this link in my old computer but lost it in the change over when I got my lap top.
It is a fantastic resource which even includes Victors foreign issues, which make up the bulk of Victor records in my my collection. Now I can go through my youtube videos of these & add the release dates :)
Thanks again!
