Nipper mirror value?

Post by antique1973 »

I am clueless on Nipper signs so I was wondering what fair market value is on this
mirror before I make an offer. Its 30 by 22 inches. The seller said its from about
1970. Thanks for any info.

If I recall, I paid about $25 for mine last year.

It's a nice accessory piece but it does not date back to the Victor era. Mirrors like that were made during the 1970's and possibly slightly later. I would think $20 to $50 (tops) is a fair price. Jerry Blais

I've got one of those mirrors as well, and a smaller one with an hmv logo... I thought they were pretty cool decorative items until a female friend, whose opinion I mostly respect and who I hadn't seen in a while, was over one day not too long ago and made some comment to the extent of... so, you're into dog art now?

My response to that would be: "Its not not only art, its a way of life".

I made an offer but someone beat me to it. Its ok, I still have my 3 dimensional version.

My response to that would be: "look into this horn, and tilt your head a little bit... (click)"
