Historic book "Talking Wax" online for free download
As a new member to The Talking Machine Forum, my first contribution to this group is the sharing of a long-term project, the online publication of "Talking Wax", the first general history of the phonograph, published in 1945. Tim and Donna Gracyk kindly agreed to host it for me on their website. More information about the book and a link to download the PDF file can be found at http://www.gracyk.com/talkingWax.html. As a hand-typed transcription, the page formatting is different from the original, but the result is much more legible than a scan would be. Enjoy!

Thank you!
I first heard of this book more than 40 years ago, but have never seen a copy.

I wish this, as my first post, could contribute as much, but I just have to say "thank you." I'm new to the hobby, finally finding time to pursue this long-held interest. I'm looking forward to reading it through.
