That actually looks like a decent frankenphone, most likely a refinished portable, although it might actually be an off-brand machine for those with limited space :roll:

Actually, it looks very much like a version of the Columbia "Marvel", which was made as a 'premium' machine.....

Yeah, it does look similar to the Columbia pictured. The details are different though....no dove tails, the 2 knobs near the crank, etc. Thanks for that photo by the way. I never knew that any company purposely built something that ugly. Interesting!
