It seems to be well made with a lot of care. Yes, it's a frankenphone and good for parts.

That's actually a very nice piece of work, honestly I think it's much more interesting than a run of the mill VV210 console. The opening to the horn is pretty small but this could be worth keeping as it is.

I wonder what the horn looks like... a small tube from the tonearm base to the grilled opening, or maybe something more elaborate.

I wouldn't mind somebody building a phonograph from parts, what I don't like is the VV-240 plate in it. This shows intention to deceive I think. Not necessarily by the seller, but by whoever built that machine.

Bizarre, but inventive. They must have found that magic shrinking machine to cram a 210 into an old suitcase. :lol:
