I made an error about the record speeds. I now realize there weren't 33 ⅓ recordings back then. Sorry.
I do have another question. What are the functions of the needle sizes? The medium size seems to work best on my machine. :?:

CONGRATS!
How can you go wrong for $100 and working? I am curious about one thing though. You mentioned being unable to find the german trademark online. Where did you find a trademark? Are you refering to the metal plate on the front? That plate was placed there by the retailer not the manufacturer. Just curious.........and jealous too! :(

I also have a German made Musikhaus merkur phonograph. It is in good condition and works well although I have to set the crank so it won't come loose during play. The cabinet is beautiful and has side by side door on the front.
I would post pictures though I don't see any photo sharing icon. Could someone show me how to do this, I'd appreciate it.
