Okeh/Parlophone Laughing Record - An Electrical Remake?!

We are all familiar with the famous Okeh/Parlophone Laughing record from 1922 - now guess what; it seems there was an electrical remake of it! It's not the some imitation as it is obvious that these two people are actually the same people who recorded the 1922 version. This version is still funny, although little bit less effective than the acoustic version.

Simply check out this video. I've never heard about this electrical remake before - any infos?

The Japanese title, "色男だいなし" literally means "A Handsome guy (an 'Adonis' type) messed up". Also there are some German words on the label here - I was told that the original 1922 version was actually recorded in Germany.
