Victor E leather elbow

Is it correct to have a leather elbow horn on an early E? I need a horn for mine and it's an early one with pre dog tag and motor with fiber spur gear like the Victor C.

Only the very early Vic E's had a horn with a leather elbow. I have one with a serial number of 17,xxx with a leather elbow and one with a 27,xxx serial number with a screw in horn and brass elbow. I suspect finding an original horn that takes a leather elbow is more difficult than finding one with the later screw in end. Jerry Blais

Actually it was the opposite. I've found a leather elbow horn. I think the serial # on my E is lower than 17000.

P.S. I'm looking forward to using the spearpoint horn I got from you at caps.
