HI,
I was wondering if after receiving yet another set with a chip in the lead in area if there was anything some one may have used that works out well to patch the chip so that an automatic or even manual set down won't be dropping into a area that might damage the stylus? If so please advise as to what you may have used.
thanks
Larry

Re: Anything to fill lead in chips successfully?
I have not attempted to use a record with even a repaired edge flake or chip in an automatic changer, however I have some with edge defects previously repaired with epoxy. Personally, I have use Elmer's Glue to stabilize an edge flake/chip, but I'd still be nervous about plopping another record down on top of it. But I have used these on a manual turntable or vintage machine with no problems.
