How did that happen? This thread was up on the front page when I commented on it, yet now it seems my post is the first one this year. I just don't get it. And I hope you don't think I'm a spammer.
I have a nifty little device called a "Talking House," basically a low power AM transmitter that outputs to any frequency you specify (to avoid conflict with other broadcasts). http://www.talkinghouse.com/ They were originally made for real-estate agents, who would record a sound clip about a house they had for sale, put the device in the property, and someone driving up in front could then tune their AM radio to a frequency shown on a sign posted out front and hear about the property. I have an iPod hooked up to mine with recordings of old radio shows on it, which I can then pick up on any of my antique radios. Works well. They show up occasionally on eBay, so you might be able to do better there than from the manufacturer.
