who can tell me about Serial Number Sequence:19866 13
I am restoring a VV-XIV machine. What puzzles me is the "13" at the end after the # 19866. Could that be the year it was manufactured ?

I'm guessing that your "13" is actually the letter "B." You can look up the number and find the date of maufacture at http://www.victor-victrola.com/

Assuming your "13" is actually a letter "B," as chance would have it, it would actually make your XIV manufactured in early part 1913.
