The C-19 in is a fine machine. It was far from the most expensive but it's one of the "Laboratory" models which means it has the powerful motor and the large horn. It was the flagship of the Edison line much like a Victrola XVI with the Victor company. $200 is a very fair price for a good example. Buy it! Jerry Blais

Yes, buy it!
You may be lucky as I was to find that the records are the later paper-label type...perhaps even some electric recorded ones. There were five of these that came with my oak C-19.
The catalog number for the popular electric series began at 52089, and for the classical they start at 82351, if I recall correctly.
$200.00 is a fine price for a working machine in good condition with all the records.
I like keeping the records with the original machine. It reflects the owner's musical tastes. Good luck with your purchase!

I agree with everyone else. The priced is pretty good if it's in good condition and has DD's with it. I just bought a mahogany C-250 last week and paid more than the price of the one you are looking into. It came with some nice discs and is in wonderful condition. I couldn't be happier about the purchase.
Go for it!

Where were those $200 Edison Lab Models in Texas when I was shopping for one? Run, don't walk, to buy it.
