Victor Credenza What to look for?

I have a 1925 four door CREDENZA # 16957 sticker manufacture date Dec 30,1925 that has a brass reproducer. I don't know when Victor changed to the potmetal version but it perhaps was in mid 1926 when the model name was chaged to 8-30.

My 4 door (S.N. 13799) also has a brass reproducer.

Finally got over to look at the credenza. The reproducer was pot metal and cracked, it wouldn't crank up (broken spring?) and the cabinet was not in the best of shape (pictures can be so deceiving). Needless to say I'm still looking for a Credenza. Thanks for the help, Jan.

Call the guy and just say, look at the reproducer, how many Tear drop holes are in the from face 7 or 9? if its 7 then its Brass and id be on my way to get it, make a day trip out of it, If it has 9 then its Potmetal. I ended up finding a Early 4 door model from 1925, mine had the Brass Reproducer on it. He says the Spring is broke? well there are 4 in that one, sometimes people think they are broke but all it is is the end of the spring came off the hook inside the barrel, but you wont know that till you open it.
Hows the Veneer and woodwork?
If the unit is in good shapt get it i would.
