All metal phonograph - another off brand?
Any idea who made this all metal phonograph? Does not look like a toy or a childs phonograph to me. Reminds me of my little metal Stewart phonograph. BK

According the the Fabrizio / Paul books that's a "Madison". The horn forms the case and wraps around the motor.

Would everyone consider this book: "The Talking Machine Compendium" by Fabrizio & Paul as the best illustrated reference guide to our hobby? I am mainly interested in a book with good illustrations of these type of "off-brand" machines, and I notice that a lot of you reference this particular book in your postings, etc.

I'd recommend every one of George and Tim's books, they're chock full of goodies that many of us can only dream of ever seeing. I've spent many hours on several occasions just leafing through them.
