Weekend quiz - guess the mystery machine

Not sure if this is too easy or not...but try and guess the machine from the picture below. To be the "winner" I need the make, model number and year of release of the machine. To get the GOLD STAR: have a guess at the original sales price. Go on see if you can guess it!

OK, I know it's an HMV 163 because I'm staring at mine out of the corner of my eye. Year? 1927, was it? Price...hmm...I can't recall. 25 quid? That's just a guess!!
