It needs a lot of TLC though. Part of the veneer is missing, it needs a complete repolish, a grill(e), the arm looks wonky, the motor may need a complete overhaul and the soundbox probably needs new gaskets. But a bombe model for $95 is a steal. A nice project for the long cold winter nights. I wouldn't doubt for more than 5 minutes if if was in my neighbourhood.

For that price, if I was anywhere near it, I'd grab it without a second thought. But then again, I actually prefer project machines to machines in good condition.

Replicating that curvy grill would be beyond my rather elementary woodworking skills.

Brian Krapes made me a replacement grill for a similar machine. I belt-sanded the back to make it thinner so it would flex into the frame. The result was just fine.
