Edison W-250 with long play and Duncan auto-stop

Post by Matt Brown »

Here's a nice W-250 with a few extra features that needs a little TLC .

I picked this up a few years ago with the intention of restoring it and keeping it, but it needs a new home now.

Motor runs well - has the long play mechanism, which is all there.

Comes with a NOS long play reproducer.

Duncan auto stop is there as well - just needs to be connected to a battery.

The reproducer has been completely rebuilt and tuned - sounds great.

Original grille cloth is there and use-able - just needs to be re-attached.

Original turntable felt is there and in great shape.

Someone (not me!) must have lifted this by the lid when moving it at some point - the hinges (and some wood) ripped out of the top of the lid. This will either need to be repaired, or the lid will need to be replaced.

The top of the lid will need to be refinished.

Asking $650.00
