Is $175.00 a decent price for this?

Yes, That's a very good price. Be sure to check the reproducer and tone arm support for pot metal damage.

It would definitley be a good buy at that price, if it checks out.

I have one I picked up on Craigslist for $40 that I still haven't gotten to refinishing yet
(was stripped before I got it). It's one of my winter time projects. To me, they are a very good sounding machine. With good records, you will almost forget you are listening to an acoustic machine, of course until it is time to wind it.
I would also say that is a decent price if the finish is nice.
