Post by briankeith »

What model is this Edison currently listed on EBay? I have one just like this (very close anyway) but with a totally different ID tag.

This is an early style 2- clip Edison Suitcase Standard Model A. The early plates were 2 ¾ inch long and had last patent date of June 20, 1893 and the next plate was 3 ¼ inches long and had the last patent date of May 31, 1898.
