COLUMBIA Grafonola Phonograph

Post by MILLERTIME »

Hello all,
I'm new to this forum. I have a COLUMBIA Grafonola Phonograph, the last patent that I can read is 1914.
I have owned it for over 35 years. I need help finding the model number.

From what I can see, and after a quick consultation of Baumbach & Lackey's Columbia Phonograph Companion, you have a 'Mignonette', with the optional 'ejector' record storage. This style was introduced in 1914; after 1915, it was designated the 'model 110', after its price.... I hope this is helpful to you.

I do like the looks of this machine. One of the better looking cabinet models. I have a Columbia with Black cabinet and what looks like oriental designs. not sure if even worth selling it or not, so heavy to ship.

Very nice!

It's nice to see one of the fancier Grafonolas, most of the ones I encounter are the cheaper plain ones.

Victrolacollector, can you post photos of your machine? I find the decorated machines very interesting. Thanks, Jerry
