Flower Horn. Mahogany Case. Motor is missing. Case is in good condition with no cracks, but an upper panel is cut and needs restoration. Loss to the nickel plating. Horn is in excellent condition and needs only polishing. Sells as it is.

I think if they'd market it as an "Objet d'art"
...rather than an authentic model, I'd have no objection. It's really only a static display, since it doesn't even have a motor.
As it is, now, I'd call it an "Objet d'fraud!"

The day this posted, I shot-off a message to the seller stating that this was a FAKE (I own THREE VV-50's) and that his starting bid was ridiculous. Since then, the starting bid went down to as low as $50, I believe with a disclaimer that several emails had been received questioning the machine's authenticity.
