New Find

On Craigslist last night late and ran into this: Pathé WINDUP VICTROLA - $75 (SOUTH ORLANDO). I offered $50.00 for it but we settled on $62.50 and this morning I drove 1.5 hours and picked it up. It's a Pathé Actuelle. It's mostly there (I think), it had been refinished poorly and the bottom wood shelves are broke up. All the mechanics are there and the motor is real nice. The pictures look better than the machine but for 62 bucks I guess I couldn't go wrong. It's mahogany.....

Nice. So odd that I've seen now 3 of this exact model machine with broken apart shelves, though. Why???
