lid problem on a brunswik model 112

The lid holdup mechanism on a brunswik 112 came apart during a move
need some help getting to the holdup mechanism under the turntable platform
can anyone tell me how to access the holdup mechanism?

Would it be possible to post photos of the problem? The lid support assembly should come out of the cabinet easily. Jerry Blais

the lid stop screw is inside the cavity under the turntable platform
do I need to fish it out somehow
