Victor CD/DVD-R's

Post by WDC »

I just read at a german news site that the CD/DVD-R brand Taiyo Yuden, known for its professional quality blank media will be renamed into Victor Advanced Media, owned by JVC (Japanese Victor Company).

Although there is no real technical relation to the old media, I thought it was interesting enough to post it here.

I’m not sure of how much interest this will be to our other members, but I was intrigued to learn that they will be using this logo:

I just really wanted to use the “His Master’s Data” joke...and to have Nipper looking at a CD. :D

David, that's a nice work, I wished they'd print this on their media!

Btw., even the Angel got back in use later:
