I gave this VV 8-35X a long, long, long, hard look. Volvoic has a very good reputation for selling quality items; I bought a beautiful VV-XI from him years ago. The VV 8-35X looked and sounded terrific, BUT... the cost of shipping it to me in California would have been too expensive, so I let it pass. Yep, someone got a monster deal on a great Victor orthophonic.
