Great NPR program on the Phonautogram

Post by FloridaClay »

This little program segment, from January 6, is fascinating. Runs about 7 minutes.

With thanks to "Stevenramm", who called attention to it on the Antique Phonograph Afficionado List.

Thanks for the link.

NPR isn't at all shy about running occasional little stories on early sound recording technology, or artists, at least compared to other mass media outlets. Accuracy is another matter, they've said some wacky things from time to time.
