Saw this auction for an item I had yet to see, a Pathé disc recorder. Has anyone here run across a disc for this system?

Re: Pathé disc recorder?
screenshot for when the ebay item disappears.
Looks like a normal reproducer to me. Perhaps creative use of the word "recorder" just like Edison's disks are not records, but "re-creations"...

I can't open the file, but I suspect this was one of those gimmicks that used a pregrooved disc instead of a feedscrew mechanism.

Re: Pathé disc recorder?
Recordo, thank you for the patent download. The drawings describe a vertical system, but perhaps the description covers lateral recording too. I think "Voice Recorder" would be a pretty bad moniker for a reproducer especially after the coming of radio.
