I assume you mean "peaked vocally." As a popular artist, he certainly had some very good [earning] years in the '40s-'50s! Movies, too.

Yes, vocally. And I like the arrangements and stuff.

He scaled greater heights as an entertainer later on, of course. People forget how big he was in the industry. If one looks at all the stats together (Academy Awards, record sales, charting hits, ect.) I don't think there's been anyone since to match him, for all around pervasiveness.

He made some good LP's, like the Bing Sings, Bergman Swings thing.

He was a potent agent for helping get it established pretty quick after Jack Mullin had brought the technology over to the USA and further refined it for Ampex. But I don't think Crosby had anything to do with it before.
