Fumed oak Grafonola cabinet

Post by antique1973 »

Found another empty cabinet project but I have not pulled the trigger yet. The seller
wants $200 for it which is pretty high since everything is missing. The motor
and hardware would be easy since this is a common model but the oak motor board and
horn would be tough going. Is the finished result economically feasible to at least
break even on this?

It's worth as much love as you put into it.

Brad,

I have a wooden horn and cast iron elbow from a Graphonola restore project I did many years ago. If interested, I can provide detailed pictures and dimensions. If it works, I'll make you a good deal on it.
