Mikiphone Question

Has anyone seen a box (if there was one) that the Mikiphone was shipped in???. I have never seen one myself. I know the manual and leather case don't come around often. However, the machine would not have been sent in the leather case.....would it???.

This is a pic of the original box. There was also 3 different carrying cases available for the Mikiphone including one made of canvas.

Unfortunately no. I copied that picture from (Marios?) ebay listing I think, a couple years back.
I guess if you're good with photoshop, you could copy & reduce the size of the "hand" on the brochure, then make a resonable repro label for a box- at least until the real thing came along.

Bummer. It's the first time I've seen one. I did know there were different carrying cases made. Not sure which carrying case is rare or if they all are. I the pic you showed....It shows paint in the letters on the lid. I have seen some with and some without the red & blue paint. There are some that have a rectangle green needle tin and others that have a round needle tin. Anyone know which needle tin was first??.

Shane, I see what you mean about the hand logo. However, mine is on the operation manual and is much larger (I think). I guess I could crop the image and make it work. As you wrote "until the real thing comes along". The manual is in English & French.

Im fairly certain the round tin came first, but someone else might know for certain.

I read somewhere (not certain where) that the round stamped tin was first. I think the un-painted lid machines where also early production. The article I remember stated that the company started to "dress" the lids up to help sales in later years. Hence the red & blue paint and painted (larger) needle tin. If a member has this article or can shed a little more light on this......

While we are discussing MIkiphones has anyone seen this attachment. It is a folding crank handle that attaches onto the key winder.
