I believe it was JoAnn Fabric. I'm not sure if that's a Michigan store or not. They had a few colors of wool to choose from, but not many. Luckily the antique green was exactly what I wanted. I usually see only synthetic felt in the fabric/craft stores. The felt they sell does not come close to the weight or color of the original.

The one that Jo Ann Fabric has is the same that was discussed somewhere else in the forum. It is also sold online by OneOfTheFlock. Oh, make sure you order it "unfelted".
