Columbia Graf G2 tonearm broken. D2 substitute?

Hi guys, I have a quick question about tonearms which I hope is not as silly as I think it is. I have a Columbia Grafonola model G-2, and have been tinkering with it on and off for about 2 years- I finally got it up and running two days ago, so of course today a piece of the tonearm popped off
I can't find another G-2 tonearm, but I might be able to get a Columbia Grafonola D-2 tonearm. They look so similar I'm hoping I can frankenstein this guy together, but can't tell much from blurry internet pictures.
