Zwebie, Thanks for posting some of the better craigslist items. Thanks to people like you, I bought a matching record cabinet for my Col BI. I live in Oregon and don't normally look on Seattle Craigslist. I would have missed out. Thanks, Jerry

not to be argumentative, but the posted link is to an ebay auction, not craigslist. and if it's just to draw attention to something for sale, there's a section for that. but regardless, merely posting a link to such an item without providing a photo, let alone any comment or discussion, does nothing more than create a useless thread with a dead link once that ebay page expires.

... either way, I wasn't looking for a fight or debate, was just asking a simple question about a post that provided only a link to an auction with no comment whatsoever.

Wow, that's a really impressive and interesting machine! I love that oriental lantern light in the back left corner of the turntable compartment, and the piano-lid style lid prop (which looks to need a little repair work on the hinge end), not to mention the matching record storage bins with button pulls and the pleated speaker cloth. Even the inside of the door is decorated! I hope it sounds as good as it looks. And it's electric!

Sorry Brianu,

I'm new to this forum and wasn't sure where to post this. The main reason I posted it was to bring it to the attention of those who might be interested in this type of machine. I guess I should have posted it in the Yankee Trader. Bob S.

I like the pagoda light too. Very cool! Not your average Grafonola.

Bob, I for one appreciate your post because it gave me a chance to see a very unusual machine.

my god. a simple question as to why a poster posted a particular link (thanks by the way for later adding the photo - it's definitely an interesting machine, although I recall it being offered for sale a few times before, on both ebay and locally on craigslist) hardly equates to an expression of unappreciation. why infer the worst and then comment on a question that was not even directed to you? IT WAS JUST A QUESTION.
