My most recent pick up $70 VV-XI

Post by EdisonPhonographGuy »

Victor VV-XI . The outside case it a total wreck, BUT will look magnificant when I get finished. This is in line after my Edison Home that i'm finishing up. The interior of this really needs no attention besides a light cleaning. The veneer is complete with no cracks, tears, or gouges. It just needs refinished. Casters squeek like a little hog. The only thing this piece needs is a key for the lock.

Congrats! It should clean up nicely.

Nice catch at $70 for this late-model mahogany XI! It has the "fat tone arm" and no. 2 sound box. Should sound great, especially if the sound box is rebuilt. Please post pictures after you rework the cabinet, and tell us how you did it.
