It does have a crank, i'm not sure now why it wan't on when I took these photos.
I do still have the machine, although it doesn't get played too often now as I have other ones which I prefer to listen to.

Not worth it. They are nice machines, but not for that amount of money. They're so common in the UK and hardly ever sell

I decided not to buy it. The seller only decreased the price 15 euros. Thanks for the advice.

It's not even an HMV - it's a Frankenphone - only the cabinet and tone-arm are original HMV items. The winder, motor, motorboard, t/table, brake, speed controls etc are all non-HMV items.
It's an absolute dog, but not the Nipper breed.
