What would you say about this machine, at first sight?

I would but it. It is a Victor Victrola XI table top. It is a very scarce and desirable machine. It looks like it should clean up very nicely.

I too agree with you Harvey. Nice machine. I guess it had a "BID" in French...????.

just contact the seller and offer him the starting price + postage to buy it from him direct

Well, that is one problem with showing listings here on the forum. Someone else may buy it that normally won't see it. That may be something to consider when showing ads...???.

Yes looks like someone did. Auction says seller has ended the auction because its no longer available.

i was meaning for amrcg to contact the seller and buy it direct!i wouldnt want to buy something from under the nose of someone else!
