This cabinet is still for sale, it is to much of a project for me to take on!

Yes it is, Alex, you should have listened to the Colonel!

You will never find any of those parts here in the UK to complete that machine. At best you might get the motor from some over-zealous parts dealer who'll want more for the motor than the complete machine is worth.

The Victor and HMV decals were always different as indeed the UK decals were different to the European variants. The new HMV book will not tell you much as it doesn't even touch upon the European machines but from what I've read of your posts, I suggest you buy it anyway to prevent your misunderstanding about certain machines you think you might like to buy some day. The pictures are good as a visual reference tool!

yes, i have already explained to jerry that i cant buy the cabinet as it is too much of a project to take on and having thought about it (taking in the colonels advice) i deceded its not a rist I am willing to take!
