Thanks, Steve, for mentioning this. "Some of" certainly doesn't mean "all," and in my haste to defend my cherished books my comment seemed a bit too strong. I'm sorry about that.
I'm glad to see, though, that I agree completely with all the rest of your comments regarding problems in attaching value to machines through auctions and other sales.
