What's Going to Union?

Post by downsouth »

I thought it would be neat to let those making the trip possibly know not who but what would be going to Union and was being offered for sale. Just so they could get an idea and possibly hook up with someone who may have what they are looking to buy.

I always think I won't have much to bring to Union, then as it approaches, I find stuff that needs to move on. This year I'll have.

Machines
Very Rare Edison Amberola IV (Mission stlye)
Early brass mandrel Home Under Glass
Near mint Victor III with smooth oak horn
Early rod style Columbia AK
Edison Amberola 30
Triumph A with a rare J Repeater

Accessories:
1890s 9 Cylinder record caddy
Hexaphone reproducer brush - impossible to find
Columbia Coin-op Reproducer for BS, AS, or N
Many Black Lamberts in original boxes
Early lever Exhibition reproducer
Pointed weight Mobley Automatic reproducer
Edison round top Oil Can
Shut-off accessory for an Edison Standard (Fabrizio/Paul Gadgets, Gizmos etc - 2-57)
N Reproducer in the original cylinder packing (Fabrizio/ Paul Accessories, Contraptions 2-91)
1913 Edison Book showing all of the models
5000 series Blue Amberol fox trots
Early Victor and Eldridge Johnson Monarchs

I'll probably dig up some more stuff too as the show approaches.

I will be bringing a few showcases full of reproducers and other small parts. I might also have a couple of wood horn Victors, some Edison Homes, loose horns, and other misc.

I also have a very nice Heywood Wakefield wicker upright available. If anyone is interested, please contact me before Union. Otherwise I will save space in the truck for other items.

I've got a nice Model B Gem, an oak disk record cabinet, and some good "smalls". The "smalls" include things like a Little Nipper Club pinback button, needle tins, an original phono toy The boxers, and a tub of good parts. I'm picking us a very nice oak C-250 Diamond Disk which will probably be for sale at the show. Union is frequently a place where deliveries are made and that's true for me this year. I'm delivering an "L" door XVI, a golden oak XVI, table model X, table model XI, an Edison Standard, a Columbia AT, a Columbia Favorite, and a very early Queen Anne XIV. I've pre-purchased two very nice record cabinets that I'll pick up at Union. I can't wait! Jerry Blais
