Finally got around to making myself a flocker today. Electronic goldmine in the USA had a sale, negative ion generators were reduced to only $5.00 each, so I got 10 of them, you never know when you might need a spare or 2
Parts list: Plumbers 45mm PVC pipe, 2 end caps, a small metal door knob, a bit of fly wire, a toggle switch, an extension lead (cheapest way to buy flexable cable) and a screw top container from Woolworths. I already had a 110 volt 3 pin plug and a step down transformer.
It works fantastic, I have some Jukebox record trays I wanted to replace the flocking on, I haven't done them yet. I tried it out on a smaller item using PVA glue, I will need to find a glue that stays tacky for long enough for me to go through the process, the PVA skins over to quick for large jobs.
