Victor Motor ID

Gathering up all my spare motors I've wound up with over the years. Can anyone tell me which Victor upright this motor belongs.......thanks

If you are sure its from an upright, odds are its from a VV-XI or VV-X

VV-IX or VV-X made between 1915 and 1918 The VV-XI of this period used a dial speed indicator, not the "Murray" indicator used on thismotor.

The Murray speed control was actually quite effective, and although after 1918 it was replaced with the Victor speed indicator, it was used in Britain until well into the 1930's.
