Another Mouth To Feed
Well Craigslist has been busy and fruitful. However, did I need another mouth to feed??...
. I already have a big hard rubber Nipper (on the left). Now, I have two.....or so I thought. When I got home I soon discovered that the new Nipper (on the right) was not only smaller but the collar did not have "Nipper" in the mold. I wonder how many of these 1940's-50's there are???. So, in light of this....I have to keep him and again.....another mouth to feed.

These are the best type of pet-- they don't bark, don't poop on the carpet, don't eat much, don't get sick, don't shed... As you can tell, I've had the more lively variety of canine and have experienced all of the above.. Steve

Steve, that is a good thing. However, our 24 pound cat will likely need therapy ($$$$$$) now with all these "dogs" around the house....schweg wrote:These are the best type of pet-- they don't bark, don't poop on the carpet, don't eat much, don't get sick, don't shed... Wow, that cat would intimidate any dog I know. He looks like he's just waiting for you to get close enough to swipe your head off.
I have a big 36 inch Nipper in the living room, next to the fireplace, and on my Grandson's first visit, he didn't want to get too close to the dog, just in case. It was pretty funny.

I don't think he'll be too high-maintenance: just throw him a red label Columbia now and then to chew on....

Re: Another Mouth To Feed
My newest addition isn't Nipper either but fits in perfectly with the subject of this thread, "Another Mouth To Feed". We had our third child two months ago and here she is asleep in the car seat while her big brother and sister were swinging. (Three children under three years old...what were we thinking?!)
