My Columbia needle cutter arrived today, but... It doesn't cut all the way from side-to-side. When it is fully pressed, a significant part of the needle slit is still visible. Am I doing something wrong, or is the blade spoiled?
Regards,
António

Most likely, the blade has been resharpened until it is now too short.
