i had this problem on a cheap soundbox, the gaskets would have stuck to the faceplate, just VERY carefully pry the face plate off

Sooo, I finally got the face plate off and the gaskets were dried and in pieces. I found some that were a perfect fit and now it sounds perty darn good. =P Thanks for all the help! :D
