Post by flashpanblue »

For those that are new to the forum or may not know reproduction cylinder boxes are still available from the fellow who makes them. The quality is excellent. I contacted him yesterday to get up dated prices, they are as follows, Edison Blue Amberol and Columbia Indestructible with lids $3.25. Pink Lambert,Lakeside, and Royal Purple $3.75. Extra lids .75 The fellows name is Burdette Walters, his contact email is [email protected]

Burdette's been doing these for a long time and I have appreciated his service a lot. I did the Lakeside and Lambert Ebony labels several years ago.

The Lakeside source box was sacrificed for the scan to be used a template. For a proper quality, I practically had to redraw everything, which meant 8-12 hours of labor for just one label.

But I am proud to say, that the Lambert Ebony box was not sacrificed to accomplish the new one.

I also tried to get German Lambert label but my source then was not the best quality. I'll have to try that again with a better one I now have, when time allows it.

I've bought these through two of the vendors out there who carry them and I can attest that they ARE excellent quality and wel worth it. I will get them directly through Burdette now which will be slightly cheaper.
