I have 2 motors, each with their own problem(s). One is complete but the motor is not running smoothly. I have tried lubricating but I can't get it to run correctly. The other motor has an incomplete governor assembly and is missing the spindle and gear. I would like to either a) move the governor and spindles assemblies to the working motor or b) swap just the motor assembly to the complete. Not sure which is less complicated. I need direction to get things apart. I don't want to start loosening set screws and such. I have been unable to locate this info online. Thanks.

Start by posting some pics of the motors at a few angles, so we can see what you have.

I found a 6 part YouTube video by chilldude2007 that shows the disassembly and cleaning of a 2 spring motor similar 2 mine. Very informative and well done. Gave me the info I was looking for.
