An Old Phonograph Collector
This is a nice photo of an old phonograph collector sitting lonely in the midst of his well ordered treasures.

Egad!
I just saw myself in twenty years!
That does it - tomorrow I'm definitely taking a long ride on the bicycle...

Many of my phonographs are in my living room near the 50" TV so people have to be around me!!!

I would call him "lonely". I'd call it a good way to spend a rainy Sunday in Oregon. Jerry

I wouldn't call him "old" either. He has more hair than George and I combined. Anonymous Guest

We'll have to get together for a ride George Paul. I have always said summer is for cycling and winter is for phonographs and woodworking. (OK, raining summer days are for phonographs and woodworking too

I don't know, he could probably have an entire additional shelf if they were more practically spaced.FloridaClay wrote:Oh, and I want those record shelves!

Re: An Old Phonograph Collector
that is what my bedroom is starting to look like
, you really know your a collector when you have to pile machines up just to find a place for them! i have 2 columbia 202s piled on a sideboard along with a hmv 31 and i gramophone currently under construction then i have some shelves with my edison fireside on top, cylinders underneath then a space for a edison home i am about to pay off then under that is my ediphone shaver, i also have a edison standard lined up to buy which i have to find a space fpr and i have a hmv 101 at my dads house, dont you just love collecting
this guy has a very good collection! dont see any cylinders or phonographs though
however that wonderful emg makes up for that!!!
