Grey Hound shipping?

Has anyone had luck with greyhound shipping for large items? To ship the same item in a 37in cube from NYC to CA is about $1100 cheaper than UPS!

I have a friend of mine that buys console radios and most of them come by Grey Hound shipping and he has never had a problem.

I had great results shipping by Gray Hound. I sold a Schwinn Jaguar to a fellow in the Los Angeles area. The buyer was pleased with the cost and the care that the bike received. I think a big plus was the fact that the carton made the entire 900 mile trip in the same bus. It was not reloaded from one bus to another. Jerry Blais
