Decals for Cygnet horn wanted

Post by max_phenol »

Hi,

I'm looking for very good reproduction decals for an Edison 10 panel Cygnet horn (both "horn" logo and patent dates).

I found one on eBay which looks okay from the graphically point but it has some "lines" in the golden colour. The other one I found is offered by Wyatt's, but this is not entirely correct (graphics) and has no patent dates decal.

So, are there any others offered by anyone?

Thanks!
Helmut

You should definitely try to Greg Cline's decals. I have seen in them and they are really hard to differ from an original one if applied correctly. He is a true wizard with these and even does custom work too. Just get in touch with him if you cannot find what you are looking for.

I've used Cline's decals and they are very good. Musical Americana's are adequate.

epj24, the ebay seller from Peru, has the best that I've used, though. The metallic background
is more like that of a clean orignal than any current production unit of which I know. epj24's cygnet decals are sold along with the appropriate patent labels, too. Those "lines" belong there, btw, unless the horn is a Music Master.
