Victor VV-X parts wanted

Post by m0xiemama »

Picked up a VV-X today but whoever owned it replaced the tone arm with another models. Anyone have one lying around they want to sell? I may also want the cabinet doors as someone tried to add a lock. I think it will bother me to leave it even if I can make it look decent.

I think I have a tone arm and a motor/motor board, I will check when I get home later.

The VV-X was made for many years and went through numerous changes. Things like motors, motor boards, tone arms, all changed with time as well as cabinet lids, doors, etc. If you take good photos and measurements, you will have a better chance of success. George Vollema is your best bet for all the parts you need. Jerry Blais

Thanks Jerry. I will do that. If it helps it is a 1914.

Go to the "Links" section of the Forum. Then click on "Repairs, Parts...". There you will see "Great Lakes Antique Phonographs" and the owner, George Vollema, will have everything you need. Jerry Blais

Thanks Jerry. I think I've found what I was looking for already. I know of his site though and will keep it in mind.
